In an effort to simplify our product portfolio, reduce overlap and streamline operational resources, in September of 2021, Windstream Enterprise capped new logo sales of a portion of our xCaaS product portfolio.
To further that effort, we are announcing the capping of new logo sales of the Avaya IP Office solution. This change includes all IP Office UC, as well as the Avaya Call Reporting (ACR) and Avaya Contact Center Select (ACCS) solutions sold with IP Office.
Our relationship with Avaya remains strong, and we are still actively selling Avaya Aura. This decision will allow Windstream Enterprise and our channel partners to focus on targeting up-market, enterprise-level customers with the Avaya Aura solution. OfficeSuite UC® will continue as our go-forward solution for the small and mid-market customer segments.
Any outstanding new logo IP Office quotes not signed by January 31, 2022, need to be withdrawn and reworked as either OfficeSuite UC or Avaya Aura. All Service Delivery work in progress (WIP) orders will need to be completed by June 30, 2022, and any remaining work thereafter will be canceled.
All MAC activity for existing Avaya IP Office customers, including adding new locations, will be cared for through the remainder of their contract terms. All maintenance and support will continue to be provided by Windstream Enterprise. We will also allow contract renewals for existing IP Office customers, although first preference is to convert them to OfficeSuite UC if the customer’s requirements can be met. At this time, there is no plan to force-migrate customers or shut down the platform.
