We’re excited to share our newest feature: the ability to send and receive business text messages on the OfficeSuite UC® White Label Desktop and Mobile app. 
Improved user experience with OfficeSuite HD Meeting® software upgrades
Our latest release of OfficeSuite HD Meeting includes a variety of new and enhanced features to continue to help you collaborate and meet face-to-face with customers, partners and colleagues from anywhere.

A few highlights include:

  • Updated Client User Interface (UI)
    The UI is now more modern, sleek and frictionless. New Chat features include Channels, Personal Channel, Starred Messages and Contacts. Chat groups have been renamed to 'Channels'.

  • Raised Hands
    Participants with raised hands now appear in the order in which they were raised, rather than alphabetically.

  • Non-Verbal Feedback
    During a presentation, participants can provide non-verbal feedback without interrupting the flow of the presentation. Participants have the ability to raise their hand, signal yes or no, indicate to go faster or slower and use emojis. The host has the ability to clear all non-verbal feedback indicators at any time.

Migration of portal functionality: WOL to CPT 
To improve end-user management, the following capabilities have been added to the Customer Portal Tool (CPT):

  • Place voice product service changes for circuits and services on the Windstream network
  • Renew end-user contracts
  • Open, escalate and check status of trouble tickets
  • View Windstream RevChain8 invoices, billing and payment history, as well as usage reports
Additional capabilities will be added to CPT as Windstream Online (WOL) will soon be decommissioned. If there are specific WOL capabilities and reports critical to your business, notify your Windstream Enterprise Resale account team as soon as possible.

Coming soon to CPT—the Dynamic IP family of products 
Voice services will be added to CPT, beginning with the Dynamic IP family of products. In the coming months, you’ll have the ability to quote and order all of your circuit-based voice and data services via a single, integrated portal.

As our VoIP offering, Dynamic IP provides voice and data services over a single connection. For Windstream-provided access, voice and data services coexist on the same circuit by incorporating the use of dynamic bandwidth allocation. Voice traffic receives priority, and the bandwidth is immediately made available to other applications (such as Internet access and private data applications) once a call is ended.

There are 3 call path handoff types available for Dynamic IP services:

  • SIP Call Path – Provides a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) handoff to the customer’s equipment, which is 100% IP
  • PRI/Digital Call Path – Provides a TDM trunk handoff (PRI or CAS) to the customer’s equipment
  • Analog Call Path – Provides an analog handoff to the customer’s equipment
Your Windstream Enterprise Resale account team will notify you as to when this product is available in CPT.
